How to read the results

Monthly rate is what the insurer charges each month for your selected benefit, timeframe and health bracket. Class indicates which underwriting tier the quoter is using; the final tier gets confirmed during the underwriting process. Exam needed? shows whether the company plans to order tests; many modern accelerated pathways waive these for those who qualify. Financial rating is the insurer's security ranking from A.M. Best.
